UFO sighted in Lieusaint in 2011

Summary

On the early morning of March 21, 2011, a witness in Lieusaint (France) observed for a few seconds a silent object with a yellow-orange glow moving along an E-NE descending trajectory. The description of the phenomenon is very similar to that of an atmospheric entry of a meteorite. Although the possibility of an unidentified object was considered, the characteristics match what is expected from a meteorite fall. The case was classified as category B by the GEIPAN, suggesting a plausible but unconfirmed explanation.
