On March 20, 2011, a driver noticed a light in the sky that intrigued and unsettled her. The light appeared to remain in the same direction, making it seem as if it was following her movement. However, this was due to the light being very distant and thus appearing to move with the observer. The vertical shifts were an optical illusion caused by the changing horizon. Additionally, the color changes of the light were attributed to atmospheric turbulence. Eventually, the light was identified as the star Deneb, one of the brightest in the sky and part of the famous Summer Triangle. The case was classified as "A", meaning a misidentification with a known astronomical object.
