🇫🇷 GEIPAN / CNES
On April 7, 2011, a witness in Paris observed a luminous phenomenon that caught their attention. From the seventh floor of a building, they saw two close oval shapes that changed color, going from white to orange and then to red, before disappearing silently. The witness thought they were two Thai lanterns moving away with the wind. The direction of movement, from north to south, supported this idea. It is believed the lanterns were launched near the Seine River and drifted with the breeze. The GEIPAN classified the case as "B," indicating a probable observation of Thai lanterns.
