On April 5, 2011, a driver in the Var region of France observed a very bright blue ball of light moving rapidly across the sky. The luminous object followed a straight trajectory and then changed to an orange color before stopping and disappearing. A passenger also confirmed the observation, though only one testimony was collected. Due to the low strangeness and moderate consistency of the case, investigators concluded it was likely a meteoroid entering the atmosphere. Although not entirely ruled out, the lack of independent evidence prevented it from being classified as a high-probability phenomenon. It was ultimately categorized as B, considered a probable fireball.
