UFO in Peynier with grass imprint

Summary

On June 14, 2011, two observers in Peynier noticed a silent, variable-speed luminous object in the sky. The phenomenon lasted between 5 and 10 minutes, and the next day they found a circular area of flattened grass. The initial description resembled the International Space Station, but a second, erratic-moving object was also reported, resembling a helicopter. However, the GEIPAN could not confirm this.
