🇫🇷 GEIPAN / CNES
A witness reported a nighttime observation of a bright object passing in a straight line above his home. The bright white light appeared from the northwest and quickly disappeared toward the southeast. As it passed, the witness noticed three white lights: two in front and one in the back, forming a triangular shape. The striking detail was the complete absence of noise during the event. Although some elements could match a low-flying aircraft, such as the shape and trajectory, other details like the silence and lighting don't align with expectations. The GEIPAN investigated with civilian aviation and the military but only found flights at high altitude. Radars do not cover low-altitude flights well, and the area is known as a military training zone. Due to the lack of clear data, the case was classified as "C".
