Summary

In 2011, a witness reported seeing a very bright white ball silently crossing the sky in a straight line. The phenomenon completely baffled him. On the same day, between 23:08 and 23:18, the International Space Station (ISS) passed overhead and was visible from Aiglemont. Although the witness claimed to have checked online and concluded the ISS would not be visible that night, and although the timing didn't exactly match, the description of the trajectory and brightness led investigators to consider the ISS as the most plausible explanation.
