Summary

On July 10, 2011, in the Yvelines region of France, several witnesses observed a formation of orange glowing points in the sky. The main witness quickly recorded the event with a camera while calling the gendarmerie, providing crucial visual evidence. A few weeks later, on July 15, the same witness reported a similar phenomenon. After analyzing the footage, the gendarmerie concluded it was Thai lanterns, a conclusion the witness accepted. Although definitive proof was not obtained, the GEIPAN praised the thorough investigation.
