🇫🇷 GEIPAN / CNES
On the night of August 24, 2011, a witness in Toulouse observed a silent flying object with a triangular shape. What most caught their attention was the unusual light coming from the bottom of the craft. Although the phenomenon was brief and quickly hidden by the urban landscape, the testimony was enough to prompt the GEIPAN to investigate. After confirming there were no radar traces or conventional explanations, the GEIPAN interviewed the witness, who remained consistent in their account. However, no additional evidence or identifying elements were found. Due to the lack of solid proof and the presence of only one witness, the case was classified as D1, meaning an unidentified phenomenon with low consistency.
