UFO observed in Ramboillet in 2011

Summary

On August 10, 2011, a witness in Ramboillet (Yvelines) observed a luminous point moving slowly in a straight line from his home. Before it disappeared behind some trees, he recorded the phenomenon. This was not his first encounter: he had already seen something similar in June of the same year. Although the case is somewhat consistent and not particularly strange, investigators from the GEIPAN concluded it was likely an airplane landing. However, the location of the observation, away from the main airports in the region, and the probable direction of air traffic (from the east) prevented a higher classification. Ultimately, the case was rated as B.
