On October 17, 2011, a witness in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques observed three white points in the sky. These objects, five times larger than stars, moved in a triangular formation toward the west. They separated and regrouped before disappearing on the horizon. The witness described a speed similar to shooting stars, with an observation lasting less than five seconds. Although the consistency of the case is good, the C classification reflects the lack of clarity. Possible explanations include sky lanterns or a meteorite, but both have inconsistencies. Without further investigation, the case remains unresolved.
