Summary

On October 26, 2011, a witness observed what appeared to be an extremely bright star in the sky near the constellation Aquarius. Surprised, the witness noted that the light gradually decreased until it became a small point. The observer thought it might be an airplane seen head-on with its lights on, at a distance of over 10 km, which would explain the absence of red and green lights.
