On October 21, 2011, around 8 PM, many people across France observed a bright atmospheric phenomenon. It appeared as a luminous object with a green trail, moving in a straight line for a few seconds. Witnesses were located in different departments, reinforcing the authenticity of the event. The observation coincided with records from the REFORME network, specialized in meteorite tracking, confirming the event was real. The object was estimated to have a magnitude of -6, classifying it as medium-sized. While considered a probable meteorite entry, the possibility of an unregistered space debris reentering the atmosphere was also considered.
