🇫🇷 GEIPAN / CNES
On November 9, 2011, several people in a car in France observed a blue phenomenon in the sky, described as a flash or a semicircle. While driving home, one of the passengers noticed something even more unusual: a large, stationary orange wheel that vanished suddenly. The observation was unique, as the other occupants did not see this second phenomenon. The possibility of a discotheque lighting device being accidentally activated was considered but could not be confirmed. The witness firmly rejected this explanation. Due to the brevity of the observation and the lack of verifiable information, the GEIPAN classified the case as "C", meaning no scientific value.
