In January 2012, a witness in Saint-Quentin, France, observed a triangular object with three bright white points moving rapidly from south to north. The brief and unique testimony did not include any sound, which caused some confusion. Initially thought to be an airplane with landing lights on, radar data did not match the described movement. The only radar trace showed a commercial flight, but in the opposite direction and seven minutes later. Due to the lack of additional confirmations and data, the case was classified as "C", meaning it has no significant scientific value. Nevertheless, the detailed description of the linear and constant movement of the bright points remains of some interest to researchers.
