🇫🇷 GEIPAN / CNES
In January 2012, a driver in the Hautes-Alpes observed a cylindrical luminous object that seemed to follow him. After stopping, he noticed the light turned orange-red and called the gendarmes, who found nothing. The GEIPAN concluded it was likely Venus and Sirius, though the witness didn't confirm it. The position and brightness of the stars matched the witness's description, though his perception changed with movement.
