🇫🇷 GEIPAN / CNES
On March 1, 2012, a driver in Sainte-Julie noticed a bright light in the sky. He observed a large "shooting star" with yellow color and white-blue edges, followed by a blue trail. The witness was impressed by its size and speed. Although the case was classified as B by the GEIPAN, it was considered a fireball, likely a meteor entering the atmosphere. No space debris was recorded that day, so that possibility was ruled out. However, the phenomenon was not reported by the REFORME group, leaving open the possibility of a unique or undocumented observation.
