Summary

An unusual UFO case was reported in Val-d'Oise, France, on June 29, 2012. A hiker was alerted by his dog to the presence of a stationary white object at low altitude above a field near a forest. The witness described the object as large, with a flat bottom and concave top. Although the sighting lasted less than twenty seconds, the observer noted that the object rose slightly, tilted, and disappeared quickly into the cloudy sky, all without making noise or smoke. Initially, it was considered a possible optical illusion of the sun between clouds, but several elements did not match that explanation.
