Summary

In July 2012, a witness in Montpellier observed three very bright points in the sky at dawn. Filming from his terrace, he noticed the objects formed a triangle. He repeated the observation two days later. GEIPAN investigators concluded the points were Venus, Jupiter and the star Aldebaran. Their location and brightness matched expected positions for that date. The case was classified as "A", indicating a fully identified observation with no need for UFO hypotheses.
