In August 2012, a witness in Paris observed an orange light in the sky shortly after sunset. The light suddenly disappeared, followed by a dark, round object that changed direction before vanishing. Although the witness described an unusual event, the GEIPAN investigators concluded it was likely a solar reflection on an airplane.
