Summary

On August 26, 2012, at around 00:40, a witness captured a strange luminous phenomenon in the sky with photographs. He observed dozens of red, non-blinking objects moving silently from north to south along a straight trajectory. All maintained a regular distance from each other and moved at a constant speed. The witness described the scene as similar to the passage of Thai lanterns—red spheres moving in horizontal groups without noise. The wind was blowing from the north at 23:00 and from the northeast at 00:00, which supports the observed north-south movement. The event lasted about five minutes.

The GEIPAN classified the case as "B," indicating a likely observation of Thai lanterns. Although the testimony and images are consistent with this phenomenon, the absence of noise and the precise formation still raise some curiosity. Nonetheless, the report concludes that there are no elements suggesting a non-conventional explanation.
