UFO in FITOU with zigzag objects

Summary

On October 13, 2012, around 2:05 AM, a witness in Fitou observed a series of objects resembling pale blue meteors. These objects moved rapidly in all directions, intersecting and disappearing within seconds. According to the testimony, they were estimated to be about five fingers above the hills and rooftops of the village. Immediately afterward, the witness saw a red point moving westward, similar to a satellite, but with unusual movements. This object stopped, brightened intensely, and performed a series of rapid, precise zigzags before disappearing.

The GEIPAN investigation concluded that the behavior of the objects could not be explained by known natural or artificial phenomena. Hypotheses such as laser spots or micro-nystagmus were ruled out. Despite attempts to contact the witness for more details, it was not possible. Due to the lack of additional information, the case was classified as "C", meaning insufficient information for a conclusive evaluation.
