On October 24, 2012, a driver in Poisat noticed a luminous phenomenon that caught her attention. She described a bright white light descending rapidly before disappearing. Then, she perceived a shape and the light gradually reappeared along an ascending trajectory, eventually vanishing behind a hill. No noise was heard. Only one witness account was collected, which limited the possibility of verifying whether others had seen the same thing. Although the characteristics of the object did not match those of planes, drones, or meteors, the possibility of a reflection on the windshield was not ruled out. Without images or additional testimonies, no clear conclusion could be reached.
The case was classified as C, indicating insufficient information to determine the nature of the phenomenon. Although the testimony was precise, the brevity of the event and the lack of visual evidence limited analysis possibilities. The case remains unresolved, but it is not considered particularly strange, as it could be explained by conventional phenomena. The GEIPAN concluded that there were not enough elements for a more conclusive evaluation.
