An unusual case in Guadeloupe occurred on December 14, 2012, when a witness noticed a strange shadow darkening their window. Upon stepping onto the terrace, they observed a black triangular object with stacked side panels and a circular shape in the center. The object emitted steam and made buzzing and "clap" sounds. The witness attempted to signal the object, which then quickly disappeared towards the northwest. The observation lasted between 2 and 4 minutes, but there were no other witnesses.
Although the testimony is detailed, the case was reported 20 months after the event, raising questions about its reliability. After an investigation, experts concluded there was insufficient data to provide a solid scientific report. For this reason, the case was classified as category C by GEIPAN due to the lack of supporting information and the singularity of the testimony.
