On March 15, 2013, a witness and his son observed a golden object moving in a zigzag pattern across the sky in Chessy. The object, described as a golden ball moving slowly, drew attention due to its silent movement. Investigators considered the possibility that it was a Thai lantern, a hypothesis that fit with the wind direction and the witness's location north of Disneyland Park. The zigzag movement of the object was attributed to turbulence caused by the urban environment. Additionally, the impression that the object was moving away quickly was explained by the gradual extinguishing of the lantern's burner, causing its brightness to decrease. Ultimately, the case was classified as "B," indicating a likely observation of a Thai lantern.
