On April 1, 2013, two people in Artogne observed a slow-moving, silent orange glowing ball. The ball drifted northward with the wind and then suddenly disappeared. The detailed account notes that it left no trail, which made the phenomenon intriguing. Although it might initially seem unexplainable, the GEIPAN concluded it was likely a Thai lantern, often used in celebrations. Given that the observation occurred near a holiday, this explanation is very plausible.
