🇫🇷 GEIPAN / CNES
On May 3, 2013, at around 4:45 PM, a witness near a school in Nice observed three luminous points arranged in a triangle in the sky. These objects moved slowly eastward and caught the attention of the witness, who alerted another person. Both continued to observe the phenomenon for about 30 to 40 minutes while returning home. Although the testimony is detailed and consistent, there were no other witnesses or photographic or video evidence, despite a photo being taken. The GEIPAN classified the case as "B", meaning a likely observation of a cluster of Mylar balloons. Although the objects were not strange, their appearance under certain conditions could seem unusual.
