🇫🇷 GEIPAN / CNES
In June 2013, a witness walking down the street noticed an oval-shaped object in the clear sky, colored beige and gray. The object made no noise and was spinning gently while remaining stationary in the air. Another passerby also saw it, though only one testimony was collected. The witness observed it for six minutes, noting its slow rotation. GEIPAN investigators concluded it was likely a captive helium balloon, commonly used for events or advertising. Despite its unusual appearance, the most logical explanation points to an aerostatic object.
