Summary

On June 14, 2013, a witness in Grenade observed two slow-moving red lights silently crossing the sky. The event happened on a Friday night, which led investigators to consider the possibility of "Thai lanterns." Weather data indicated a light northwest wind, which could explain the objects appearing in the north and moving eastward.

The International Space Station (ISS) passed the area shortly before 23:00, but its trajectory didn't exactly match the witness's account. Moreover, the ISS is usually seen as a white or yellow point, not red. There was no clear explanation for the second object either. The possibility of airplanes was ruled out due to the absence of blinking lights. In the end, the GEIPAN classified the case as "B," meaning it was likely caused by Thai lanterns.
