On June 6, 2013, a driver in Aveyron (France) noticed two stationary lights in the sky. After stopping, he observed two distinct shapes with no apparent noise. The witness took photos with his phone, but there were no other testimonies. Analysis showed the sun was 8° below the horizon, and the bright star Vega was clearly visible. Although illuminated aircraft were considered, this was unlikely 30 minutes after sunset. The lights did not match known star pairs or objects. Balloons or lanterns were also ruled out due to the detailed description. The case was deemed unexplained but of low strangeness, not warranting further investigation.
