UFO sighted in Quincy-sous-Senart in 2013

Summary

On June 9, 2013, several people in Quincy-sous-Senart observed two objects moving silently and simultaneously in the cloudy sky. The polygonal-shaped objects maintained an equal distance from each other, ascended slowly, and disappeared into the clouds. The witness, located in a house with a façade facing east-southeast and a window facing west-northwest, saw the objects moving from right to left toward the direction of the forêt de Senart. Although the witness mentioned an east-west direction, implying the objects flew over the house, wind data from Orly indicated a northerly wind at 20h and a northeasterly wind at 21h. This suggests the objects could have been helium-filled balloons carried by the wind. The described shapes match common balloon models used at fairs and popular events, which are frequent in June. Due to the low strangeness of the case, the GEIPAN classified it as "B," considering it likely a sighting of festive balloons.
