🇫🇷 GEIPAN / CNES
On June 2, 2013, a witness in Bieville-Beuville (France) observed a luminous ball moving silently across the sky. Intrigued by the phenomenon, the witness took a photograph. The description of the object, an orange ball moving in a straight line, resembled a typical Thai lantern. The images captured by the witness were consistent with this hypothesis. Additionally, the witness noted that the object moved from northeast to southwest, a direction that could be explained by local geographic conditions. Later, the witness confirmed that he had seen Thai lanterns on July 14, reinforcing the GEIPAN's classification of the case as "A", indicating it was an observation of this type of object.
