A witness observed three bright orange points in the sky over Chagny on July 11, 2013. These objects moved silently from northeast to southwest before changing direction toward the west. Although the witness recorded videos, the points were barely visible. He attached a screenshot to his report. No other witnesses were found. The observation seemed unremarkable, and the lights resembled Thai lanterns. However, the movement did not exactly match wind patterns recorded in nearby areas. The GEIPAN concluded the case was not unusual and classified it as "C", considering possible perception errors or local effects.
