On July 5, 2013, several people observed nine orange lights arranged in a diamond shape moving silently across the sky in Alpes-de-Haute-Provence. The case was classified as "A" by the GEIPAN, meaning it was clearly identified. The Patrouille de France, known for its annual night flights, officially confirmed the lights were part of one of their air shows. Although initially intriguing due to its unusual appearance, the event turned out to be a routine but visually striking aerial display.
