Summary

On July 24, 2013, a witness in Gonneville-la-Mallet (France) observed more than 10 flying objects in 30 minutes. The objects displayed different shapes and behaviors, but no other testimonies were collected. Despite the number and variety of phenomena described, the GEIPAN classified the case as "C" due to the lack of precise data. It is suggested that the objects could have been satellites, meteors, or even the spectacular flashes of Iridium satellites. That night coincided with a peak of meteor shower activity, which explains the high visibility of celestial bodies.

The testimony is considered atypical due to its uniqueness. No photos or precise details about the position or direction of the objects were obtained. On the same day, the GEIPAN recorded another meteor sighting in Belgium, reinforcing the idea of a common astronomical event. Although the witness could not provide enough information, experts concluded that it was most likely a set of natural phenomena, not an extraterrestrial craft.
