UFO identified as Airbus A380 in France

Summary

On March 29, 2016, a driver on the A34 highway in France observed a bright and dark object in the clear sky. At first, he saw a glowing point, followed by a black shape resembling an airplane. The object appeared stationary and seemed to emit a kind of mist or smoke. The witness took photos and videos, noting the object had a triangular shape with two large wings and a red light in the center. Eventually, the object disappeared.

After investigation, it was identified as an Airbus A380 in flight (flight number SQ336) coming from Singapore to Paris. The apparent stillness and "smoke" were due to optical effects and weather conditions. The GEIPAN concluded the case was a normal observation of a commercial aircraft. The perceived slowness and color changes were explained by the observation geometry and sunlight reflection.
