A driver in Poissy spotted a white cylinder in the sky on September 7, 2013. The object moved in a straight line before disappearing. No other witnesses were found. Weather data indicated a southwest wind. Researchers suggested it could be a hot air balloon reflecting sunlight. Although the cylindrical shape is unusual, the GEIPAN classified it as case B, considering it not strange. A field investigation was not deemed necessary due to the low likelihood of an unexplained phenomenon in an urban area.
