On September 5, 2013, a witness in Saint-Ouen-l'Aumône (France) observed a series of five bright white flashes near a telecommunications antenna. The event occurred at 4:29 AM while the witness was taking a break at work. No unusual noise was heard, and no other witnesses were reported. After an on-site investigation, GEIPAN researchers concluded that the flashes could have been caused by the pantographs of an electric train passing nearby. The location and characteristics of the phenomenon matched this explanation, leading the case to be classified as "B"—a likely explained observation.
