In September 2013, a witness in Lourdes observed luminous balls in the sky for several days. At first, the witness thought it was a supernatural or extraterrestrial phenomenon, especially since the bright ball seemed to follow his movements. However, the GEIPAN, the French organization responsible for investigating UFO sightings, concluded that it was Venus, visible in autumn with a magnitude of -4.7. The direction and position matched astronomical predictions, and in the photos another less bright ball was seen, identified as Saturn. Additionally, on September 23, the witness observed a different phenomenon: an orange ball passing quickly across the sky. This rare event was identified as a fireball, likely caused by a meteorite entering the atmosphere. The case was classified as "A," meaning the observation was clearly identifiable with astronomical objects.
