On the night of October 1, 2013, a witness in Schiltigheim observed two white-blue lights moving together in a random manner. These lights passed through clouds and remained visible for a few minutes before disappearing. Two hours later, identical lights appeared and suddenly vanished. The witness took some photos showing that the lights were only visible on the clouds, suggesting a possible projection from the ground. Although the phenomenon did not seem particularly strange, the description resembled the kind of lights used in nightclubs, such as a "skyrose".
After analyzing the case, the GEIPAN classified it as "B", indicating a likely observation of a light animation. Despite the lack of extraordinary features, the images and the witness's description are consistent with this type of projection. The fact that it occurred on a Wednesday night, an unusual time for such events, generated some curiosity, but not enough to warrant a more detailed investigation.
