🇫🇷 GEIPAN / CNES
On October 22, 2013, at 10:40 PM, a witness in Münster (France) spotted a dark object shaped like a half-dome with hanging protrusions moving silently from south to north. The observation lasted less than 10 seconds, preventing the witness from taking a photo. The object quickly disappeared into the night. Although the witness could not identify it precisely, the GEIPAN classified the case as type B, suggesting it was likely a helium-filled festive balloon, such as a "ladybug," that had escaped its owner. The object's physical description and behavior match those of such balloons, though other possibilities are not ruled out.
