A witness in Callac, France, observed a series of luminous points moving silently across the sky on October 23, 2013 at dawn, in three successive waves. The witness completely ruled out the possibility of lanterns, fighter jets, or any kind of light reflection. However, investigators concluded that it was likely a group of migratory birds. At that time of year, many species migrate from the north to the south, and one of the main migration routes passes near Callac. For example, cranes migrate in that direction, and their plumage, illuminated by the moon, can appear as bright points. The witness mentioned a more intense light that stood out, but it was not present in the initial report, suggesting a possible memory error.
