Long light in the sky of Massy

A witness in Massy observed a long, intense light in the sky on November 4, 2013. The light had a light color with a slight orange tint, resembling the reflection of sunset on an airplane. The phenomenon was visible for a long time, causing some confusion. The description of the light, elongated and orange, did not match Venus, which appears further south and has a white, round appearance. It was considered that this could be a distant airplane contrail, between 40 and 80 kilometers away, appearing small and almost motionless. These contrails often disappear when the sun drops below the horizon. The case was classified as "B," meaning a likely observation of an airplane contrail.
