In November 2013, two people in Allier observed a luminous phenomenon in the sky for 1 hour and 30 minutes. The case is divided into three phases: first, a bright point in the northeast resembling an airplane or helicopter viewed from the front. Then, the witness's son saw an object "rocking" above the house. Finally, a very bright point in the southwest remained almost stationary for over an hour. Investigators concluded this was Venus, which was particularly bright at that time. Variations in the photos taken by the witness are explained by inconsistent focus settings and camera shake. Although there are records of planes and a helicopter in the area, it is not possible to determine with certainty which aircraft was observed at the beginning.
