On April 20, 2016, a driver in the Cotes-d'Armor region observed a luminous phenomenon in the sky. At 2:50 AM, while traveling along the D786 near La Couture, he noticed a flash followed by a bright white trail with a greenish hue at its end. The object, moving toward the sea, was visible for three seconds. Although there were no other witnesses, the description matched a meteor. This case was classified by the GEIPAN as "A," meaning a meteor observed from multiple locations, including Normandy and Paris. The International Meteor Organization confirmed the event, validating the natural explanation for the phenomenon.
