UFO observed in Romainville in December 2013

Summary

On December 9, 2013, a witness in Romainville (France) observed four bright red balls in the sky. They moved in formation, like a squadron, and disappeared as they ascended. The witness took several photos showing the objects entering from the left and moving away toward the southwest. Since the wind was blowing in that direction, it was considered that the objects might be carried by the air, suggesting the possibility of Thai lanterns. However, their appearance in a weekday afternoon was unusual. Although the GEIPAN did not investigate who launched them, the case was classified as "B", meaning a probable observation of Thai lanterns, possibly related to early celebrations of Christmas or Saint Nicholas.
