Child Balloon Identified in Villeurbanne

Summary

On March 6, 2014, a witness in Villeurbanne observed a dark object shaped like a horse that seemed to spin in the sky. The witness took photos and a video of the object, which was about 300 meters away. After analyzing the images, it was determined that the object was a helium-filled child balloon in the shape of a winged horse. This type of balloon is common, especially during the "Year of the Horse" in the Chinese calendar. The balloon's shape is clearly visible in the photos, along with the tethering string.
