🇫🇷 GEIPAN / CNES
On March 2, 2014, a witness in Condé-sur-Ganaveix observed a white light slowly moving over the rooftops of a housing area. Initially, they thought it was unusual and took photographs before the phenomenon was hidden by trees. The event lasted about thirty minutes, but no other witnesses were found. What caught the witness's attention wasn't the light itself, but the rectangular shape that appeared in the photos. However, the GEIPAN concluded that this effect was a reflection from the Minolta camera's flash. The original light wasn't well described, and what seemed strange was actually a photographic artifact. Therefore, the case was classified as a "photographic reflection".
