A witness in Paris observed static orange lights in the sky on June 23, 2014, around 22:45. The weather conditions showed a north wind of 15 to 30 km/h, leading to the consideration that they might be traditional Thai lanterns. Another flying object approached the group of lights following the wind direction, reinforcing the idea that it could be another lantern launched later. However, the witness's description did not fully match that of a typical Thai lantern. The witness saw the object from inside a car, through the windshield, while driving, and the observation lasted only five seconds. Due to these unfavorable conditions, the lack of other witnesses despite the area being densely populated, and the brevity of the observation, the case's strangeness cannot be confirmed. It was classified as "C" due to lack of information and cross-verification.
