🇫🇷 GEIPAN / CNES
A witness in Toulouse observed on July 5, 2014, around 23:00, a bright light rising from the ground into the sky before quickly heading west. A few minutes later, a second phenomenon appeared and followed the same trajectory. The yellow lights seen on a Saturday evening, moving in the direction of a light east wind, resembled typical Thai lanterns released after a celebration. Due to the relatively low strangeness of the case, the GEIPAN did not consider a field investigation necessary. The event was ultimately classified as "B", likely attributed to Thai lanterns.
